Hideo could hear something rustling through the grass, and sure enough, something emerged.

Hideo couldn't resist working off his last joke. "Is that the Ghost of Christmas Past? Ready to grab me by the beard and tell me how bad I've been?"

The newcomer just looking at him in sheer confusion, glancing at the two ghosts floating besides him, who shrugged. They didn't get it either.

The Spectrier was less receptive to the guest, though; with a quick, fluid motion, one of her hooves went right into the Frogadier's face, sending it back into the grass. "Awww. You don't have to be rough! I was just joking around with them."

Skipping

The next one was a little easier for Hideo to notice; though floating Pokemon usually didn’t make too much noise, the sound of clanking metal floating through the air was very hard to miss.

“I wonder which one that is,” Hideo mused to himself, retrieving a spare Pokeball from his pocket. He’d done pretty well getting past his discomfort around sharp Pokemon, courtesy of his Aggron, so long as he was extra careful when touching them. He could guess this one was part of the Aegislash line - all forms were swords - but he couldn’t tell which it was.

The Doublade noticed Hideo readying the ball, and prepared itself for a fight - only to receive a trio of Shadow Balls in the face(s) for his efforts. The Pokeball followed soon after, though that had to be aimed at where the Doublade landed.
